Terms of Service

By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or otherwise using XoSeen, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You must not have been convicted of a felony or a sex offence, and you must not be listed on any sex offender registry. You must not have been previously removed from XoSeen. One person, one account — accounts are personal to you and may not be transferred or sold.

Verification confirms that the person shown in your full-body photo is the person who completed the live camera check at the time of that check. That is a meaningful claim, and it is the whole reason XoSeen exists.

It is not a background check, a criminal records check, or a guarantee of anyone’s character, intentions or safety. We do not verify employment, income, relationship status, or anything else a member writes in their profile. Meeting anyone from the internet carries risk. Use the safety tools in the app, tell someone where you are going, and meet in public the first time.

We may suspend, re-run or revoke verification at any time if we have reason to believe it was obtained fraudulently or no longer reflects reality.

You keep ownership of the photos, text and other content you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content solely to operate and improve the service — a licence that ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for legal or safety reasons.

You are responsible for your content, and you confirm you have the right to post it. Do not post anyone else’s photos, and do not post anything you do not have permission to share.

You agree not to:

• Impersonate anyone, or use photos that are not of you.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, defame or abuse another member.
• Post sexually explicit content, hate speech, violence, or anything promoting self-harm.
• Solicit money, promote a business, run a scam, or use XoSeen for commercial purposes.
• Use XoSeen while under 18, or attempt to contact a minor through it.
• Share another member’s private information, including their photos, messages or contact details, outside the app.
• Scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent verification, rate limits, or any security control.
• Use bots, automation, or multiple accounts.

We may remove content, suspend an account, or terminate it permanently — with or without notice — where we believe these rules have been broken or where someone’s safety is at stake.

Every profile and conversation has report and block controls, and the Safety Center is available from the main navigation rather than buried in settings. Report anything that concerns you. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Some features are paid. Prices, billing periods and what each plan includes are shown before you buy. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by that store, renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, and are managed and refunded under that store’s rules — we cannot process those refunds ourselves. Where the law gives you a right to cancel or a refund, that right applies regardless of anything in this section.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.

You can delete your account at any time from the app; deletion removes your profile from discovery immediately and your data is erased on the schedule described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, if it is necessary to protect other members, or if we stop offering the service.

The XoSeen name and logo, the app and website, and the FullBodyScan 360 verification method (patent pending) are ours. These terms do not give you any right to use them beyond using the service as intended.

XoSeen is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the conduct of any member — online or in person. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions — in which case they do not apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Before filing anything formal, email legal@xoseen.com and give us 30 days to resolve it — most things are fixable that way. The final dispute resolution mechanism, including any arbitration provision and class-action waiver, will be set out here before launch and reviewed by counsel.

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use XoSeen after that means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, delete your account.
